Casariche has an original way of celebrating this date. As in many parts of Spain, the neighbors come to the Town Hall Square to hear the twelve bells that will usher in the new year. One particular thing about this festivity is that the attendees come dressed in costume, either individually, in pairs or in large groups of people.

After welcoming the New Year, the atmosphere in the streets of the municipality is outstanding, lasting until the late hours of the morning.
