The festivity of San Isidro takes place on May 15th. It has been celebrated for more than thirty years.
The residents of El Rigüelo play an important part in the organization of this pilgrimage, and they are responsible for the “procesión” of the image of the Saint from the Church of Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación to the vicinity of the Polígono Industrial de la Fuente Arriba, located in the area known as El Rigüelo.
There, the celebration takes place throughout the weekend, involving musical performances and popular competitions.
